News & blogs Blogs and vlogs Charity gives something to smile about 8 Oct 2014 To mark this year's Dental Showcase, oral health charity the British Dental Health Foundation invites you to come and get a picture taken with our fantastic blue lips. Located at stand B13, the photobooth will be available throughout the three days, offering visitors the chance to support Mouth Cancer Action Month. The #bluelipselfie campaign will help to raise awareness of the disease, as well as encouraging you to pass down key messages to your patients. You can register your support for Mouth Cancer Action Month, with a free t-shirt available for every campaign pack ordered at the show. The British Dental Health Foundation's educational resources, available now at www.educatingsmiles.org - the new webshop - will also be on show. The full range of motivators, educators, puppets, models and leaflets will be available for visitors to browse, with experts on offer to match the right product to your needs. Director of Educational Resources Amanda Oakey said: "The blue lips are a great way to engage a broad range of people. Mouth cancer is on the rise, and we need your help in curbing the growing number of people diagnosed with the disease. "Our sales and marketing team will be on hand to give you all the advice you need on the right products for your planned event. There are a number of special offers only available at the show, so do come and visit the stand. "The PR team will be able to offer tips on the best way to promote your event and answer any questions you may have. Above all else, come along and have your photo taken and support the campaign!"
