Yesterday, at the Royal Society of Public Health, we had really big announcement to make regarding our future as a charity and now, we would like to share this exciting and momentous news with you.

As of Monday 4 April, the British Dental Health Foundation will be changing its name to become the Oral Health Foundation.

A new name. A new look. And a world of new ways in which we can help improve oral health.

Last night's event, held in London, was attended by around 70 guests which was a wonderful turnout. We welcomed a mix of leading figures from the world of dentistry and health, as well as many political figures, policy-makers and journalists, as well as some of the charity's closest friends.

Chief Executive of the charity, Dr Nigel Carter OBE, stood up to speak about why we decided to make that change while President Janet Goodwin unveiled the new name change.
