The British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) have raised £1,830 for charity through a raffle and silent auction.

The donation has been split evenly between two oral health charities, the Oral Health Foundation and Bridge2Aid.

The BACD's generous donation was made after holding the successful fundraiser during their 12th annual conference at The Hilton London Metropole Hotel, which attracted over 300 attendees.

CEO of the Oral Health Foundation, Dr Nigel Carter OBE, said: "On behalf of the Oral Health Foundation I would like to thank the BACD, and their members who took part in the raffle and auction, for their generosity and support.

"Regular donations are an important part of any charities fundraising efforts and vital to our work as we continue to do exceptional work in helping to improve the nation's oral health. Donations such as this go a long way to ensuring we can continue to fulfil our ambitions."

Prizes offered by the BACD to participants included; bespoke practice stationary design, a free full Enlighten kit and training for all the team, a Luxury UltraDEX gift box containing a premium quality bathrobe and a HyG electric toothbrush alongside a host of other products.
