The Oral Health Foundation believes everybody deserves to have good oral health.

For nearly 50 years, the charity has been there to help people with the health of their mouth.

The Oral Health Foundation provides education, resources and support for millions of people every year. The charity helps some of the most vulnerable groups in society by giving them the tools they need for a healthier mouth.

Some of the charity's activities include:

Campaigns

The number of people diagnosed with mouth cancer has more than doubled within the last generation. November's Mouth Cancer Action Month aims to raise awareness of the disease and save lives.

A healthy smile is really important, not for our oral health, but our general health and wellbeing too. Between May and June, National Smile Month will engage millions of people about the value of good oral health in a fun and positive way.

Consumer advice

Having the right information at hand is essential for making informed choices about the oral care products we buy.

That's why the Oral Health Foundation evaluates hundreds of oral health products every year.  The charity makes sure the marketing claims made by manufacturers are trustworthy and backed up by scientific evidence.

It is the largest Accreditation Programme of its type, and give consumers from more than 50 countries the confidence and protection they need.
