Yvonne has worked in dentistry since leaving school after studying her ‘A’ Levels in Home Economics and Ceramics.

She started as a part-time dental nurse in 1982 and went full time after becoming a qualified dental nurse two years later. 

Yvonne uses her dental knowledge and years of experience to deal with all sorts of enquiries about oral health. Yvonne helps to reassure patients on correct dental procedures, current charges as well as offering tips and advice on good oral health.

Yvonne also provides educational material for professionals wishing to give oral health-related talks in the communities.

Yvonne is the charity’s health and safety officer, first aider and fire marshal!

Yvonne’s hobbies and interests include working in ceramics at a local studio and creating various pieces of art to display. She enjoys sport and playing with her cat Jerry.
