Two members of the British Dental Health Foundation are jumping 13,000 feet to raise money for charity.

Communications Manager David Arnold and Website Officer Doychin Sakutov will be performing the jump this Sunday (30 November) at Brackley Parachute Centre in Oxford. The jump will be performed as a tandem skydive, reaching speeds of up to 120mph.

David, 28 from Rugby and Doychin, 25 from Coventry, were originally scheduled to jump in October before high winds on the day caused the jump to be postponed.

David said: "It's something I've never done before, and I must admit, I'm terrified! It's for a great cause, so I hope everyone can get behind us and support the charity.

"Having been cancelled in October due to bad weather, I think we're all crossing our fingers for a calm and clear day... hopefully it won't be too cold either!"

Doychin added: "I'm really looking forward to it. I can't wait for the adrenaline rush to hit me. It's going to be the greatest thing I will ever do, so I hope everyone can support us."

So far, the pair have raised £965 while three others jumpers also raising money for the British Dental Health Foundation, Ian Aguado-Bush, Andrew Mack and Jenny Stubbs have collected a further £1,500.

The skydive on Sunday will feature a number of other dental charities including Bridge2Aid, Heart Your Smileand the Mouth Cancer Foundation, who will also be jumping on the day.

The jump is the brainchild of Ian Aguado-Bush, founder of the Clean My Teeth, who put together a world record 70 hour Drummathon last year for the same charities.

Ian said: "The British Dental Health Foundation does an amazing job of improving oral health. The Clean My Teeth campaign aims to improve the oral health of one million children around the world. David and Doychin react to the dental skydive. We aim to do this by educating people, and that's exactly what the Foundation does. Choosing to raise money for them was an easy choice, and I hope to raise as much money as I can."
