National Smile Month is coming to Dundee, and Beam Orthodontics is holding a special event to support the UK’s biggest oral health campaign.

National Smile Month takes place between 13th May and 13th June to promote and raise awareness of good oral health, and Beam Orthodontics is getting involved to do just that.

Members of the team from Beam Orthodontics will be promoting National Smile Month at the Overgate Shopping Centre, Lower Mall on Wednesday 22nd May from 9am to 4pm. They will be highlighting how to develop and maintain a healthy mouth and you are welcome to come along. You will receive your very own goody bag and we would love it if you would share a smiley selfie with us.

Mr Rhu McKelvey co-owner of Beam Orthodontics said: “We love taking part in National Smile Month. It is a brilliant campaign and as a specialist Orthodontic practice, making smiles is our business! If you are interested in finding out ways to improve your smile or want some help with your oral health, why not come along to see us.”

Chief Executive of the Oral Health Foundation, Dr Nigel Carter OBE said: “I’m delighted that Beam Orthodontics has joined the thousands of organisations to engage with National Smile Month. It is a great reflection of local community spirit and an excellent way to promote good oral health.

“By making an event as fun and imaginative as possible, we hope it will inspire more people to join in than ever before while delivering the Oral Health Foundation’s three key messages for good oral health; brush for two minutes twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, cut down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks, and visit the dentist regularly.”

Come and join Beam Orthodontics for National Smile Month on Wednesday 22nd May 2019.
