Learning resources Carers Oral health for carers training Oral health is far more than just clean teeth. It is closely linked to overall well-being, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Poor oral health can contribute to serious conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and dementia, and can significantly affect a person's ability to eat, speak, and socialise with confidence. Yet daily mouth care is often one of the most challenging aspects of support. This engaging and practical CPD training package has been designed specifically for carers, and will strengthen your knowledge, build your confidence, and equip you with the skills needed to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred oral care.
