Congratulations! You have confirmed your place and are coming with us to Snowdonia.

Make sure you put these details in your diary…

When: Saturday 14 September 2019 and Sunday 15 September 2019

Where: Snowdonia National Park, Wales

So that you’re fully-prepared, please take a look at the below information.  It has all the details about the walk itself, how you can tell others about your involvement and how people can support you by donating.

Information Packs

These information packs include everything you need to know for the event.

They include start times, meeting points and parking information.  They also have great advice about clothing, training tips, what to bring on the day and more.

There are two ways your friends, family, colleagues and other supporters can donate.

All money raised will be going towards the Oral Health Foundation’s Mouth Cancer Action campaign.

We need your kind donations to improve awareness about mouth cancer and help educate as many people as possible about the benefits of the HPV vaccine.

Social Media

Shout about your fundraising efforts on social media.  By sharing your plans, family and friends can get behind you by donating. It will also help raise awareness about mouth cancer and HPV.

Here are a few examples of posts and images that you can use:

  • Over two days in September, I will be going up #Snowdonia for @mouthcanceraction. By improving awareness of mouth cancer, we can reduce the number of lives lost to the disease. Please sponsor me here – thanks!

  • I’m walking up Snowdonia for @mouthcanceraction to raise awareness about how important the HPV vaccine is. Whether you have a girl or boy in Year 8, please get them vaccinated. It’s a life-saving jab! Please donate #cervicalcancer #mouthcancer

  • Please donate – I’m conquering Snowdonia for @mouthcanceraction. Across two days our team will be hiking 15km to raise awareness about the importance of the HPV vaccine.
