Snowdonia - September 2019

Come join our team as we take on two mountains at Snowdonia!

    • On 14 September 2019, we take on Cnicht – the Welsh Matterhorn! This popular Welsh mountain is a 10km walk and an ascent of 577m. You’ll take on this summit from the tiny village of Croesor. Expect to enjoy long summit ridges, a little scrambling, extensive views and even old quarries. A route suitable for those with limited walking experience and a reasonable level of fitness.

Check out the information guide to Cnicht here!
    • On 15 September 2019, we head for Tryfan via the South Ridge. Voted the best mountain in Britain and famous for the fact that you cannot get to the summit by any route without using your hands. On this journey we’ll take the slightly easier South Ridge to the summit via Llyn Bochllwyd. Starting from the shores of Llyn Ogwen you’ll gain height using a series of paths and staircases around the southern side of Tryfan where it all gets distinctly rockier. The ‘path’ weaves around buttresses and before long you’re on the famous summit. The descent will go via the same route. This route is a tough route and is best suited to those with some previous walking experience. The scrambling difficulties are not too strenuous but if you suffer from vertigo this mountain may not be for you.

Check out the information guide to Tryfan here!

You can join us for one day or both - it's entirely up to you. Just raise as much money as you can!

Register your interest and we'll get back to you with more details.

To get you in the mood, here's a little taster from our recent challenges: Striding Edge....

    Bla Bleinn - May 2020

Next year, we'll be heading to the Isle of Skye to take on magnificent mountain of Bla Bheinn.  Reaching heights of 928m, this is a challenging walk but the views will make it all worthwhile.

We'll have more information on how you can get involved in this walk later this year. Alternatively, email us at [email protected] and we'll make sure you're first on the list to receive some information.
