Sophie Turner is our Digital Content Creator and started working for the Oral Health Foundation in February 2021.

Sophie has valuable media experience and a broad skillset, a degree in Media Production and Multimedia Journalism from the University of Northampton and has come to us with a wealth of knowledge of the charity sector from their previous role as Fundraising and Marketing Manager for another local charity. They also have lots of experience campaigning for LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion in higher education at a local, national and international level.

Based within the PR team, Sophie's role involves developing the charity's digital footprint and boosting its image through a plethora of high-quality engaging and innovative content and increased social media presence for the Oral Health Foundation's various services and campaigns. Sophie will also be helping develop a new digital fundraising strategy.

In their spare time, Sophie is always up for a new challenge and loves doing anything outdoorsy as well as taking care of their dogs. Prior to lockdown they also enjoyed being active in the performing arts and has performed in productions all across the country, and currently plays roller derby every Sunday!
