In September 2018, volunteers from Oral Health Foundation, TePe, Dental Health Spa, the Swiss Dental Academy, Revive Dental Care and others, completed the Striding Edge challenge for Moveit4smiles.

Striding Edge is a mountain ridge in the Lake District. The team did the Helvellyn route, which took around 7 hours to complete and saw them reach summits of more than 3,000 feet. It was a 7 mile-long journey and was extremely difficult given the high exposure on narrow, rocky ridges, along with wet and windy weather.

The team raised more than £1,900 for Mouth Cancer Action and HPV Action.

Here's a short video of the team taking on Striding Edge.

Together we can create a world where fewer people are affected by mouth cancer and help Brits become more aware of HPV, a potentially deadly virus.

This September we will be taking on two mountains at Snowdonia and we would love you to join us!

On 14 September 2019, we take on Cnicht - the Welsh Matterhorn! This popular Welsh mountain is a 10km walk and an ascent of 577m. A route suitable for those with limited walking experience and a reasonable level of fitness.

On 15 September 2019, we’ll be heading for Tryfan via the South Ridge. Voted the best mountain in Britain and famous for the fact that you cannot get to the summit by any route without using your hands. This is a tougher route than the previous day and is best suited to those with some previous walking experience.

Feel free to join us for one day or both. Just raise as much money as you can!

Register your interest and we'll get back to you with more details.
